Margo's Got Money Troubles / Rufi Thorpe & Apple TV
Elle Fanning reads the audiobook, and stars in the Apple TV adaptation of the story of a young woman who becomes pregnant after an affair with one of her college professors. Set in a part of my childhood, Fullerton, CA, the sweet story of someone just trying to find her way through some unconventional means was a world I was happy to live in for a period. Even better, the show makes some changes from the book that really bring more depth and care to Margo and her family, real and chosen.
